Pinetop Arizona | Labor Day Weekend (Part Two)

Saturday afternoon we headed to Woodland Lake so the girls could play at the park.

The girls are taking a break from gymnastics for a bit so Aiyana wanted to make sure she could still do her back hip circles on the bar.

Saturday night we made a fire and cooked s'mores.

Perfect night for a bonfire and a cozy blanket...

Sunday morning... Aiyana's wearing her Nana's glasses...

A wonderful spot to enjoy my morning espresso...

Sunday morning entertainment...

Aiyana and Tom jammed out on the guitars while Clara danced.

My mom and Tom took the girls for another hike while Dana and I rode bikes around the area.  The homes, golf course and lakes are so beautiful...

Aiyana and Clara on their hike...

They walked to a watering hole....

Some beautiful wildflowers that my mom and Aiyana picked.

Before we headed out on Monday, I enjoyed watching the wildlife on Tom's back deck.  The hummingbirds, blue jays and chipmunks were having a feast on the bird feeders and corn left out by Tom and his neighbor.

Dana got the girls some donuts.  Just what they needed.... sugar ha, ha.

We stopped at Woods Canyon Lake, along the Mogollon Rim, on our way home.

The view was beautiful!

Donuts were followed by pizza and ice cream cookies.  I think we need to be on a spinach and kale diet this week.

As you can see, a storm was rolling in.  We didn't get to stay at the lake for long, but we plan to go back and camp sometime.
