Page | Spring Break 2015

This past weekend we headed up north to kick off our Spring Break.  On Saturday we went to an outdoor flea market in Lechee.  The girls talked their grandma into buying them quite a few things from barrets, to bracelets and toys.

View of the land from the flea market...

The girls enjoyed running around and playing while we snacked on Navajo tacos, tamales and blue corn mush.

That's one very large arrowhead...

Dana bought me this beautiful Navajo beaded necklace...

On Sunday we went to church with Dana's parents, on the reservation, in Inscription House, AZ.

After church we headed to Alstrom Point on Dana's brother's razor.

Lake Powell

The views were stunning...

You can see Navajo Mountain in the background in all of these images.

This one is a panoramic that I took on my cell phone...

It was so silent and peaceful up on the mesa...

Dana's parents drove their truck to the top of the mesa, but they stopped with the girls after a while because the path was getting pretty bumpy.  We found them enjoying cookies at this rock that they used as a table.

Love these children...

This is the last picture I took of Aiyana with all of her baby teeth in...
