A Day at the Zoo

Today we headed to the zoo with my friend Sara and her daughter, Tyler.

Clara is representing as a true Phoenix child with her coat and sun glasses... in 60 degree weather.

The kids really liked watching the orangutans...

Up close with the monkeys...

Clara still sporting her coat, it's probably in the upper 60's at this point.  Aiyana is leaning back on the bench so she looks shorter than the other two.

The kids got to feed the giraffe.  I had a hard time taking pictures of each of the girls because Clara was terrified and I was trying to keep her calm while capturing the moment.  I did manage to get two good pictures of Aiyana feeding the giraffe.

This is the giraffe that we got to feed.  She is a grandma to some of the other giraffes at the zoo.

How many kids can you fit on a sit and stand stroller?

It was a beautiful day.  We've always been to the zoo in the summer months so it was a very pleasant experience being there in cooler weather.  Thanks for the passes Sara!
