Practicing Photography on Clara - Part Two

I love this picture of Clara... The way the sun hits her face and highlights her profile. I see a lot of her Native American genetics in this picture.

There is another building to the east of Scorpion Gulch, closer to the horses. Clara was sitting on a window ledge looking into the morning sun, towards the horses.

There was a birds nest in a nearby tree so Clara was pointing at the birds saying "birdie"

Another pretty sunlight picture...

I love the focus on her face in this picture (she likes to pick the petals off of flowers)...

Practicing Photography on Clara - Part One

This little one is TWO!

Clara has a wild spirit. She is fiercely independent and she has her own agenda. This little girl is hardly affected by anything, and if she is... she tries to keep it to herself. She is the first to say that she is sorry and she is almost always willing to share her toys. Daddy is her favorite right now, but if she is scared or sick she always calls for mommy. Clara will even seek out Aiyana's comfort or help when she is in need of something which I think is just precious.

This outfit is pieced together from gifts... Hat and scarf are from Grandma and Grandpa Cummings, sweater from Aunt Alisa and Uncle Joey & shoes and barrette (seen later) from Uncle Zach and Aunt Mary.

Clara is much more difficult to take pictures of than Aiyana. As stated earlier in this post... this girl has a mind of her own and when she is ready to be done with something... there is no changing her mind. Here's the little stinker running away from the photo scene. We had to take a horse viewing break, although Clara is not as intrigued by the horses as Aiyana is.

Our pretty little girl...

My new favorite photo spot...

Practicing Photography on Aiyana - Part Two

Here's Aiyana in the new purple outfit that was mentioned in Part One of this photography post ...

Aiyana is a gentle soul. She is always concerned about those around her and if you are sad, she becomes sad. That's just the way this little girl works. Aiyana gives hugs and kisses like thay are an essential part of her day. She is the older child and therefor the more bossy one, but she is also very nurturing. If you are having a bad day, this girl can almost always make it better.

You know me... I love close ups :o)

I love how sweet she looks in this one...

Another one of my favorites...

Gotta love the pucker...

I loved this window. It made for such fun photos.

This is my favorite picture in this outfit... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it

Here's a collection of fun photos I took from the day. Most of them are pictures of Aiyana playing and looking at the horses. I also wanted to add that the picture in the top left was all Aiyana's idea. Such a creative little thing.
